Why have you never seen this color interior before? I haven't but my knowledge of anything older than W124 is limited.

I'm trying to "learn" what certain colors look like. I've seen a couple of websites that have color samples....but samples don't do it for me.

So, what color of interior is this?

@daw_two The owner didn't really know for sure either! He bought it at 89,xxx miles from the first owner and garage kept it. I just met with the guy, awesome guy with an amazing vehicle. Here are some photos I took before he asked why I was taking so many photos. I did not want to be disrespectful so I started talking to him more about the car, records, etc.

He mentioned he had some body work done and showed me the spots, they weren't flawless but done pretty well, again touch up to a few rust spots that accumulated in the 100,xxx since he owned it. He is selling it for a just reason, he owns to many cars and his wife does not drive (nor cares) to drive stick.

The gentleman said if I do not buy the car it will be up on eBay. He said his insurance company said he could market the car for $12,xxx (for whatever that's worth really).

Amazingly stand up guy, generous and honest. He isn't selling a rust bucket.

P.S. Sorry if the colors are a bit off, my camera was not set right; there is a setting on this camera that seems pointless (Sony) and on a few occasions I have tried to figure out what it was for but still haven't figured it out. Sorry =)

Looks to be "Tabacco" interior color.

My 82 with 240k mi has less rust than that "SUPER MINT" one

I wonder how much rust there is that is harder to find?

Interior is MUCH nicer than mine though!

2414 miles drive back home . . . at 30 mpg . . . fuel at $2.75 per gallon = $221.28

4 Nights in a motel @ $80 per night = $320

Total of 4 days time and $734.48

And you don't need to go that far . . . GA, FL is a whole lot closer . . . My whole point was the "Super MINT" in my mind at least does NOT include ANY rust!

If you were to spend $6000 out here, and add $1000 for travel . . . one could have a much better example I believe . . .

OH yeah . . . I paid $1800 for mine!

Whoa I was being nice to this guy and he definitely sent me a nasty e-mail just now to which I certainly did not deserve. Buyer beware on this one! It amazes me how people can do so well in life and be so nasty! X__X I am removing his photos from my server so they won't be here anymore!

I wished him the best of luck with the same of his car but he's getting no promotion from me on this that is for sure!
