a Hitch in the giddyup
Since I had my 300TD I've noticed it did not have a lot of get up and go, It runs fine (need motor mounts bad bad bad) and I get very decent Fuel mileage.... What would cause it? I took a longer trip today, (50 miles or a little less) and as I was leaving the driveway, I heard a cough type noise and then I have a lot of Oomph, It's now fairly peppy and I've done nothing to this car, I know I'll need fuel filters etc... but what can cause this car to be a slug, then be peppy? did something clear from an injector or something? I know there was nothing in the Air cleaner box and the air cleaner itself is clean... I vaccumed the leaves off of it and blew air through it and checked the air intake to make sure nothing has gone passed and Clogged... it's not a huge drag, I can keep up with traffic, but it struck me as odd...

Your turbo boost line is probably clogged with junk and it may have slightly cleared itself. Clean it out entirely and see if there is improvement.

I think I've seen that mentioned on here somewhere, but where do I find the boost tube? how does it get cleaned?
