Torque Converter - It's Stuck

So I'm trying to do a manual transmission swap on my 190D, and it was all going well until I attempted to remove the transmission. Got all the bolts out and then attempted to pull the transmission. Got it most of the way off but it kept getting hung up....

I then remembered that I needed to unbolt the torque converter, so I removed the 6 bolts on the back of it. But The torque converter remained in place.....

With much swearing and prying, the automatic was finally freed. However the torque converter remains in place and seems completely stuck.

What can I do here?
