Has anybody blocked off the EGR valve on 1995 e300d non turbo? Will the check engine light come on?

I blocked mine. Thankfully the 95 doesn't have a Check Engine Light.

What about the Differential pressure valve? Will it go bad ? I can blow through it both ways. I was looking for things to help clean up the intake .

I dont know how to use the search options. New at this.
