Either way it's good to know I have a brother!

When I was a little kid, my mother, brothers, and I got into a car, of which her door key, and her ignition key both fit. It wasn't 'til my older brother began sneezing in the back seat due to his allergies that any of us realized it wasn't our car. The back seat was covered in dog hair, which set his allergies off....Our car was parked a few further down the row. I still remind her about it if I feel like teasing her..

I think you're right. We need to get them together for a photo shoot.

I've seen a few examples of my W210/Diesel combination running around town but my impression is that the type of people who own these cars are not quite as "into" them as would be the typical W123 owner...

I wonder if any of the workers in Sindleferden or Stuttgart drive their old that they created. Same for the engineers that crafted the car.
You would be surprised at the number of older Benzes in Stuttgart and Sindelfingen. All the way back to the 1960s, in a couple cases. > Iused to sit at one of the Sindelfinger cafes and watch them drive around.

To answer the thread's question, I owned two 1983 240D cars with the same color, interior, everything, one was --- 324, the other ---617.

Both original purchased in Michigan. Both in the same county.

I had parked my "champagne" with palomino 83 200 outside a shop many years ago. Went in for a few minutes and when I came out again I unlocked the car and found my key wouldn't turn in the ignition. I thought something didnt seem right about the interior. Took me a few seconds to see what it was and I wondered how the hell my car had suddenly become an automatic. Then I saw another identical 200 parked right in front of mine. The other one had parked in the empty space behind mine just after I'd arrived and I didn't even notice there were two when I walked out of the shop.
