99 E300D oil cooler line damaged
I am trying to locate a source for oil cooler lines and the oil cooler itself for my 99 E300TD Can anyone help? Here is the reason, So, I just finished replacing all my fuel lines, fuel filter, prefilter and o-rings. No more air bubbles and the car starts fine now. But this only starts my next problem. After I finished these repairs, my friends helped me roll the car off the ramps. As it came down, I heard this bang. What the heck was that? One of my friends said the ramp hit the bottom of the car just under the drivers side headlight. Nothing looks damaged. However, Once I got the car started, it started to rain oil. Apparently, all it took was that whack to put a small hole in one of the oil cooler lines. The good news is that I was able to stop it with a small hose clamp and piece of rubber hose for now. I dont want to leave it that way for to long. And I figure I may as well replace both lines at the same time. Maybe even the cooler itself if I can find a new replacement that isn't to expensive. Any help is greatly appreciated. I searched with no luck.
