oooook, I have done a little digging into the demise of this car...
cam gear worn nearly smooth. chain tensioner in chunks, TC snipped, camshaft broken as is a lifter, and a cam tower.
I have NEVER seen a timing gear so badly worn down.
with all the JB weld on the injectors of this car, and all the soot/grime all over the turbo, I was totally surprised to find a very clean internal condition of the motor.
I'll be pulling parts out of this and putting them up for sale.
I'm thinking I'll part out the 95 I have, and put all the good stuff into the 93.
talk me out of it please!
