WHunter's lips to HF's Ear

WHunter mentioned getting an inspection camera to go inside the bore for diagnostic purposes... .and WHAMMO... Harbor Freight's sale flyer arrives at my door with a 2.4 in color lcd inspection camera on sale for $120 ....
Cen-Tech wireless inspection camera... mini waterproof camera with 3 ft flexible extended tube...
4 ft. night vision range, lot number 66550
I can not tell by looking at it what it means by ' wireless'.... battery powered? which it IS... ?

http://search.harborfreight.com/cpisearch/web/search.do?keyword=inspection+camera&Submit=Go

That still says the non sale price... but if you print out the coupon they honor it at the store... print each item on paper by itself because they keep that just like a coupon...

I am needing to check for where wires run inside a wall cavity right at this moment !!! I do believe I can justify getting one of these !!! They used to be really expensive... isn't ' technology and mass production' wonderful for making big guy toys... uh.. I mean really useful tools....

That's a sweet deal- the flexibility alone makes it worth it.

I have a boroscope that I use to look in wall cavities.
It came in very handy after my wife over heated her VW engine, had it towed to the dealer who said he'd have to disassemble the engine (which had 0 psi for compression) to do further 'diagnostic work'

I got the 'scope, pulled the plugs, and had a great view of the factory honing interrupted by canyons scribed into the cylinder walls by broken rings. No disassembly required, just needed another engine....and turbo.

Great idea! I'm seeing it for $149 at the link - still not too bad, though.

I do not have my scanner hooked up presently...
so I was hoping someone who has this flyer would speak up... and maybe send the scan so others could print it and take with them..
it has been on sale since last month here in Austin...They might just not have updated the website... call your local HF to check on whether is it on sale... they want that ' lot' number mentioned to check when calling...
