Oh No! Not another 'round to it'
So yesterday the wife calls, "Honey, I umm... backed into your car.." Now I can not even be mad about it. sigh... Another 2 items to add to the ever growing list of things to do... (I know, my car is really dirty and unkept
 ).... #3 - Secure trim on Minivan. (Daily school bus) ... #25 - Replace Benz drivers door. ... #(must be over 100 by now) - Get Benz painted. Anyone got a spare drivers side door?

That van did a pretty good job on that door. Door are easy to find and thats a common color so it shouldn't be to much trouble.
Not try to be mean but do you really drive it everyday that dirty?

" Thanks for the replies. Indeed luck to have a common color, getting a off color door to "blend in" is a real bit of labor. As for the dirt/moss/general decreped look... Well, long story... I bought this car from a friend 5 years ago, (wow time flies) It was stored in my yard for a year before that. Amazing, it fired right up after just charging the battery. Cleaned it up and started driving it around. Started on the mechanical fixes, new rear axles, driveshaft & center bearing, front ball joints, front calipers & hoses, tranny mount, flex joints, and so on... Then got married had kids, the rest is history. I drive her usually once a week to work and back to keep the mechanicals from suffering from 'rest-rot' (part hi-way part city). Otherwise I've had no time to look after her properly... So the list of tasks slowly grows...

Don't feel bad I backed into my 85 300SD with a Dodge 2500 Diesel in the back yard. It was my favorite. At Least I was driving the worst was I thought that there was a tree root holding me back so I just added power no noise just crunch.
It will not make you feel better but S**T happens. Robert I also have a door that you can have if you want but Wilmington, NC is a haul from you.
