Not the CPS
Well crap, the CPS was not the problem. I changed it out and still no movement to the fuel rack when cranking (forward and back when the key is turned on). I did read the engine codes and it came back with “open injector circuit”.. I did a search and found this thread:
http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=192177&highlight=injector+circuit+open From his list of MB specific codes I’m thinking it’s due to the intake manifold is not currently on the car right now due to troubleshooting. I still don’t have any RPM feedback when cranking the engine over. Is that normal? Is there anything else I should look at before changing out the k40? |

Just bite the bullet and replace the K40. Worst case, you shouldn't have any further K40 related issues during the course of your ownership. With the age our cars are nowadays.... K40 is the first thing that comes to mind to replace when facing should ignition. security issues..... That K40 affects so many things directly and indirectly.
