Center console: One screw under the carpet section, IIRC a screw or two under the window switches.

I have those hoses, have to come and get 'em.

No PRNDL indicator.

Don't tear it up, gently pull it to the front or back. Of course if the PO glued it down than you will tear it up.

Yeah, the bulbs are less than a buck each, ... and will last longer than used ones (should anyway).

It's probably not glued down on purpose, probably glued down with spilled beverages. If you can't get it to lift with a pliars in the front, try the rear, or a corner, ...

Idk. carpet looks clean. looks are deceiving however, I have about 80 of those bulbs. Every time a new MBZ comes in, I strip out all of them... just in case.

I've been working on my Pod system Tracing what goes where and how things have been rigged and I think I've gotten it sorted on what they've done... my question

If the Control unit is bad, Will the system revert to it's default? I've tested some of the non cracked pods and they all work and I sealed the other ones with silicone and barring I diddnt miss any leaks the system still does not function right. I'll be replacing the damaged pods but I need to know if my CCU is shot too.

If it's the original '87 unit, check to see if it is a Bosch, which was recalled for bad solder joints.

I've had them fail, would do goofy things at random, like running the A/C compressor when in heat or OFF.

Jeff,

Do you have any more info on the recall? Mine is starting to behave strangely and I have all new pods.

I found a major Vacuum leak today, one of the pods near the window I touched the back of and it just came off... no telling how long it's been like that.

'Nother question, I've been watching Vstech's thread over in tech help I think he's redoing a gasser's Evaporator, and the back of it was pretty darn dirty... how can I clean mine up without a lot of hassle

Well that depends what you consider a lot of hassle. You need to pull the blower motor to clean it.
