Using the EPC to create a "Shopping List" for the ReCycler

Ever,"Walk the Cat Back" using the EPC Search (Parts) function?

The EPC will list every chassis that had the part # you're looking for...
'Print it out and then take it with you to the Junkyard, simplifies Hunting.

Related: does anyone use EPC with a Mac?

I went to go sign up with the EPC at http://epc.startekinfo.com/epc/subscribe.jsp and saw that there was a slightly vague warning that Macintosh and Linux operating systems were "not supported." Does that mean that running the browser-based EPC flat out doesn't work under Mac OS X, or that it sort of works but don't bother them if it doesn't? I see that it runs under Java, which should be reasonably cross-platform.

Anybody running a Mac tried to use it with the EPC?

Thanks,

Kurt

It means the latter.

I have to run it using parallels or boot camp. In OSX it acts like it's going to start then a java wont launch it.

It's actually a windows program in a java wrapper. So there's no way it would run directly on a mac.

Nudging this thread back on topic ...

I tried searching

A 617 010 21 13

in the Search ... Parts menu tool.

But I don't see where the listing of "on models" is shown. I'm a 8 minute
EPC user, so a hint would be very helpful.
thanks!
