oil pump gear and chain 300sd
I am tearing down my 300sd engine for machine shop work.
How does one correctly remove the gear and small chain on the oil pump without damaging it. I've tried a light prying on it after taking out the hold down bolt, No Luck yet. Thanks in advance for any advice |

That's all I did. Remove the bolt and wiggle the gear a little while applying pressure from behind. It came right off. I've done this to OM61x's and OM60x's.
