ABS Wheel speed sensor
I have been trying to get rid of the "antilock" light in my SD today. It comes on after driving forward for about 2 seconds. First I tried removing the sensors and cleaning all three with brake cleaner. Also sprayed in the holes as I rotated the wheel.
I did not spray anything in the one on the rear diff though as I was not sure about that. All three were very nasty. The light remains. Next I unplugged each front sensor in the engine bay and tested resistance and got 1404 ohms on the right and OC on the left. I'm pretty sure that means the left is bad, but was curious what these should read. Anyone know?

Anyone?
I read where someone read 1300 ohms on his and was good. I guess I'll go to the JY and start testing them. I just can't spend $130 each on these.

For future searchers:
I went to the JY and started testing other 126 wheel speed sensors, the first one I came to was a 560 sel that read 1396 ohms so I grabbed it for $5. I have replaced my left one that previously read OC and the antilock light did not come on after a test drive around the block just now. FWIW, I did look through the FSM and could not find any info regarding what these sensors should read, but it seems that somewhere around 1400 ohms is correct, at least on a 126.

Almost two months later and my "new" wheel speed sensor is still going strong. I has the unfortunate opportunity to "check" the ABS when a kid on a cell phone cut me off and it worked great.
