The 124 springs from H&R #29627 are for the 300TE's I believe it's the only spring they carry for the car. 1.3 " front and 1.25"rear (just right in my eyes!) I just bought the set and will be installed in a few weeks. The shim pads can help reduce the lowering if you want and still tighten things up. Best price I could find was Tire Rack (where I got them ($266 shipped)) or Pelican Parts http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/suspension.jsp?&make=H%26R&model=Sport+Spring+Set&group=Sport+Spring+Set&autoMake=Mercedes-Benz&autoModel=300TE&autoYear=1987&autoModClar=&partNum=29627&perfCode=P . It took about 3 weeks for them to get in. This was about a month ago.

Thanks for the info! Make sure you make a post on how you feel about them once installed!

His contention was that the HD's allowed for more travel than the sports. 123 and 124 is apples to oranges but I now have the lowered springs and bilstein sports on my w124 and the travel is MUCH shorter. Still happy either way
