Use golf clubs

Two part epoxy works well and I would suggest using golf clubs to hold wood in place while curing with grip end on wood. Golf clubs are good because (1) grip end is approximately the width as wood trim (2) because most people have multiple clubs in a set to use at same time they can brace all trim at the same time and (3) because each club is of a different length, achieving good pressure at multiple points on wood is easy after rough adjustment of seats as a "base."

Good luck and don't use too much epoxy as it will ooze out along edges and is not particularly attractive.

I've used contact cement and it works pretty well for a while. The only problem is I found during the Summer when the interior gets really hot the contact glue starts to give up. I think I'll try the guerilla glue next time. My method of holding the wood down is a couple of scraps of pvc pipe with hand towels wrapped around the ends. Works great! My wife likes to keep the baseball bat for herself.

glue

my .02 - used twin tube epoxy and sofar solid on there
after 2yrs no warping - used painters masking tape to 'clamp'

however got to say it was a reasonable temperature outside
when the job was done which believe is a definite plus when
u talk about using epoxy ..
