Glow plugs not working

I have a problem that is making me a bit crazy. My glow plug light does not come on and the timer relay does not click. I tested the plugs, they test good. I checked the bulb, it works. I checked for voltage to the timer and across the strip fuse, all good. #12 fuse, good as well. I have replaced the timer with one that I believe to be good to no avail.
Is there anything else in the system that would stop the the timer relay from operating? My car is a 1985 300D California spec.

With the key in position 2, verify that you have power to terminal 15 on the smaller connector on the timer.

Have you checked voltage at the glow plug with key on as tangofox007 suggests ?

I chased everything in my 300D and eventually needed a new
ground wire to the relay. That was all it took.

This came after trying a new relay, getting good voltage test results
on glow plugs. Testing each glow plug.

I drove with a maually operated glow plug system for weeks until solving this.

Glow plugs not working

I checked terminal 15 and do have power. I rechecked the Glow plugs per the Diesel Giant article and they are OK. Still no indicator light (it will come on momentarily when I plug the large (power supply) plug in. I guess the next thing to do is pull the plugs and check them individually. Any other ideas?

You could see if there is power being output on the five pins under the large connector. And check for continuity to ground on terminal 31.
