This is what $450 dollars got me...
$450 plus bad glow plugs plus dead battery got me this..

Looks like a screaming deal, congrats! I think Meguiars makes a product called "Back to Black" that will do wonders for the rubber/vinyl or really any black exterior trim for that matter. I used it religiously (way) back when I had a Jeep Wrangler with it's acres of black body trim and it worked quite well.

I had no Idea after I got it started how is the tranny and other stuff but it was worth the risk of $450 since it had new tires and CD player. Used my AAA card and towed it. Got 6 new plugs and it somehow started running a little rich since it has been sitting there long. Runs OK Suspension is tight, needs brakes, back windows do not roll up and A/C is not cold. All other things work. So all in all it is worth at least $1200 in condition it is. It is rare signal red color too.

I just retired my 87 300D at 364K. Original motor and tranny. Thats a great deal! I'll give you $500 for it now!
