Well, been working on it for a couple days. I capped the ERG, the ARV, and the took off the ALDS. I ran a new line to connect the 2 sensors that had been hooked to the ALDS. I attached a diagram of what I have done. This is correct right? Also I have a question about removing the other 2 devices and what I do with that extra line running to the cabin.
The car seems to run good. I don't detect any misses or the like. The first injector seems a little wet, as well as the return line to and from it. Course, I really have nothing to compare it to, so I don't know how it's should or should not drive. I drove it around today for about 100 miles or so. I punched it rodded it etc. No smoke, slight shudder in the steering at 60+ Not a rocket by any means, but gets up ok. There was a noticeable difference removing the Alds. Car seems "peppier" No notable difference in plugging the other 2 (ERG and ARV). I'm wondering if it wouldn't be worth the money to take it into a specialist to looking it over completely and let me know of any and all issues so I could take care of them. On that note, who around the chattanooga area is good with these? |
