94 E300D wiper transmission on 87 300D?

Will the wiper transmission from a 94 E300D fit onto an 87 300D? If not what years would? My Wiper kind of works, but seems really "tired" If you get it started by hand it will wipe slowly... I was wondering about the wiper switch and or other switched in the E300D, they look the same.. are they?

Thanks. bought it and it's shipping. Called them and the int was all ready completely stripped out or I could have picked up a few switches too..

Install the whole thing, the later arm is nicer. Also, don't disassemble either one, just install it whole with the wiper in the down/parked position and blade still on it, fits fine and saves lots of time.

On the other hand, lubing the assembly properly before installation is a good idea. When this is working properly, it will throw water on low, completely off the windshield (missing the A-pillar)!
