The FSM actually has re-use guidelines on the stretch bolts. If the bolt is stretched 1-1.5 mm depending on the original length, it may be re-used. This is from the FSM for 615,616 and 617.912. The .952 may be a different story.

Paraphrasing section 05-105:

Waisted shank bolts have been used since feb '79, the bores are tapped deeper to accomodate bolt stretch.

Replacement guidelines:

Length as new, Max Length (mm):
104, 105.5
119, 120.5
144, 145.0

That is correct. Depending on the style of bolts there is a specific place to measure. If it is the correct diameter or larger it is reusable and so forth. You have to check to see which kind you have.

Other bolts may be one time but not the benz bolts....necessarily.
