Vacuum from Control Valve on IP '85 Cali W123

Have an '85 California Wagon that I just started cleaning up a bit. Ended up knocking apart all the vac lines by mistake and paid for it last night by mulling over forum posts and diagrams haha. I think it's all finally in it's right place but I am confused about one thing...

Out of the top of the control valve on the injection pump there is the obvious group of vac lines ... But, What is supposed to connect to the side of the valve on the '85's is a mystery to me. This wagon had nothing coming from that spot which doesn't help and I have read that the line should be the vent line that runs into the interior? I know on my '83 there is a "y" line coming from the valve in this spot but would like to know what if anything should be attached to this one.
Would it be ok to leave open for now?
Any help would be greatly gobbled!
Thanks.
