Hi Bulldog,
welcome to the forum.
If you need help with a diesel Mercedes this is the place to be.
There is a page on this site called open discussion, you are welcome to discuss other things like Christmas presents there.

Thank you layback, and some diesel talk...

I bought the camera so I can post pics of my new w123.

The person who sold it to me listed it without a picture on Craigslist in Seattle.

I flew to seattle and paid him and flew back immediately leaving the car at a Mercedes dealership in Seattle.

At the dealership, they put on akebono brakes and fixed the vacuum with some special order parts.

Also, the thermostat was replaced oem, and injection return lines replaced and well as all brake lines oem. Also I had to replace the dash light switch.

Currently, I want to replace the hood springs but my mechanic is wondering why i would want to do that. Sort of want to know if other owners replace or just paint these.

So I am happy to buy a camera as I am probably the last person not to have a digital camera and there were some unfulfilled requests to see some pictures of my car.

Dealer price to replace all the metal brake lines? Curiosity makes me ask. Although others as well might be interested. Nice to see you have also joined the best site out there for the average guy.

A common quote on here
"There is nothing more expensive than a cheap Mercedes!"

$140/ Hr is good money for them. I struggle to get that for a road grader & opperator including fuel !!
$78 for wiper blades !! I paid $3.99 the other day & thought it was too much.
$165 for brake pads !! Have a look at fastlane !! Better still, dont tell Lee or he may be tempted to put the price up!!

It looks like some one is paying for some crack habit !!

it's not good practice to post telephone numbers or home addresses on here... it's ok to post your OWN info, but it's not wise...
