Ok, does your wiper system have two wiper blades for the windshield, or one wiper blade?

In general, the wiper blades for either system are available at FLAPS or online.

What year / model of car?

This sounds like the aftermarket 2 rubber strips in one blade. I don't know who makes these. In any event, I'd go with the stock single.

There is a Bosch wiper blade at the FLAPS that will fit the 124/210/201 mono wiper.

Last time I went to the FLAPS I got a funny look from the counter guy when I show up with 1 wiper blade...he insists I need to replace them both, I have to explain, there is only one wiper on this car.

I've been running the genuine MB the last few replacement cycles, they seem to fit better and last longer. And they're not really that much more expensive than the FLAPS.

The blade for my 97 C280 was less $ at the dealer than the non fitting one from the auto parts. The generic one didn't have a way to latch into the arm.

So great, what's a FLAPS though. You get it that this model has one arm with a big wiper and then a little wiper below that.

What year/model car do you own?

The OP is talking about the EARLY non articulating mono wiper that had a small secondary blade at the bottom of the wiper arm

You get that not being specific as the the car we are working on makes it difficult to spec out parts. (Yes I know that there is a car below your screen name but some people have multiple cars so we can't assume that is the subject car. )
