I'm with MBeige.

Blocked drain holes in the bottom of the door..

Squishy carpet and when you open the door you get to wash your feet.

Ask me how I know this.

Like the sunroof rubber the door to window weather strips are not a 100 % seal. There will always be a bit of water that gets into the door.

Dang, I wish it were that easy. All of the 6 (or so) holes are completely clear. I can push a thick zip tie up through each without encountering any debris or resistance.

I'm not an expert on what the door seal should look like but there are no cracks, it is not brittle and doesn't appear dilapidated at all.

I'll try again tomorrow to get pictures. The camera I have works exceedingly well for some things and not so much at others.

I'm still of the mind that the rear sunroof drains are full, and water is filling up the tray, and spilling into the b pillar molding and filling up the space between the seals on the door until it's opened. it's how it was on my wagon.

The window seals aren't designed to keep all of the water out of the doors, the doors are designed to drain the small amount of water that can get in.

Door seals are a bit of a different setup, if the door is misaligned (low), there could be a gap at the top seal. If the seal has a hole in it (bulb seal), water could also be entering the seal.

It turns out that someone had not replaced the plastic cover that lines the inside of the door. My mechanic is going to replace it (and any others that are missing) for me next week when I get back in town. He suggested I have the windshield re-sealed as well for good measure so I'm going to do that as well.
