Changed water pump ... now no coolant circulation ...

... can anybody tell me what I need to do to get this darn thing working? I ran it up to about 185F and then shut it off; it was still blowing ice cold out the heater vents. Strategic heater-hose removals revealed there was no flow going on.

I guess my next move is to pull the T-stat and see if that fixes the problem, but I thought I oughtta see if any of you guys were familiar with this phenomenon.

Thanks!

p.s. I also removed the inop A/C compressor, in case that is relevant. There was a line that plugged into the T-stat housing, which I pulled -- I figured it was a sensor -- maybe it was a valve? I'm stumped.
