w124 problem

Any ideas on why my w124 tach is not working and the antilock light is on? The car has sat with periodic crank ups for 3 yrs. These items worked prior to storage. Yes I know it's not good for them to sit even in a climate controlled building under a car cover any suggestions where to start? all fuses are good and new

The relay behind the battery is bad, take the battery out and inspect the 10 amp fuse on top of the relay. If fuse is good, the relay can still be bad. It also controlls the tach.

Agreed Joel. OVP relay and/or fuse is the most likely culprit when tachometer and ABS act up together.

heck, it's the likely culprit anytime the tach acts up!
