I'd not dip in oil... could make it slip off again... if you don't have a place closeby to order the return lines from, any weedeater repair shop should have small clear fuel line. I've used it in my SD for 6 years, and it finally started leaking this winter. put some new on, and it'll hold for another 6 I'm sure.

Any home depot or lowers will have the weedeater fuel line which is a cheap quick. It did not last more than a few weeks for me.

If you buy it from the parts store specify fuel line so they don't sell you vacuum hose, there's a big difference. It doesn't need to be fuel injection line (much more expensive) but most parts stores sell gates 1/8" (3.2mm) fuel line that works well as a replacement and you buy it in bulk by the foot.

I've never had a leak result from using the gates fuel line unless there's something wrong with the barb on the injector return fuel outlet.

As per someone elses recommendation dip the tip in oil before installing, it makes it easier.

There is also the clear line, which I've used before and kind of like it and I have some blue tinted line I got from a motorcycle shop that I like.
