If left to dry, Simple Green will etch aluminum. Keep it wet, agitate with a plastic brush, rinse off, no etching.
The aluminum friendly stuff is just diluted with water.

what about oven cleaner? ive use that before but wasnt thinking too much about the aluminum thing.
