Ok, I blew about a 100 bucks today. Swivel GearWrenches 50% off, Kobalt thru-ratchet socket set, a small Kobalt socket and ratchet set in a case, assortment of of $.89 - $2.50 Kobalt sockets.
The sales person there said they have the new stock waiting in their stock room until the old stuff is sold out.

The store in my area is pretty picked over by now. While this was on, I did snag a 3/8 torque wrench for $40. Amazingly enough I only had one for inch/lbs, now I have both. I also snagged those swivel head ratchets in 1/4 and 3/8. My buddy had the Snap-on version years ago, and I've wanted one ever since.

Hey . . . don't knock Harbor Frieght . . . I've gotten some great deep well socket sets in Metric for very little when I needed it most, and other tools there that have held up very well over the years. But like many places, they have the cheap stuff, then they have at reasonable prices the pro grade.
