Cummins still uses a 3rd rocker arm on their newest QSM 11 marine engine, the company i used to work for just took delivery of a new ferry with a pair of them rated at 610hp.I was browsing the operator manual and was surprised to see that they are doing that.The Cummins engineer explained that each injector does have an electronic component that controls the delivery but the pressure is still developed by the pushrod action.Unfortunatly i dont know much more than that about that engine.Probably will get to learn more in the future.
