Trailing Arm Swap

Will a trailing arm from a 240D work on a 300D?

Is this for a W123? then yes. even the W126 will work, from 81 to 85. not sure if the W126 from 86 to 91 is the same.

Fill out your signature, then we will know what models you have and talking about.

I have an 81 240D which is a parts car, looking to remove the left rear trailing arm & place it in an 85 300DT.

Post 20 & 27 I explained how to drop the Sub Frame assembly. If you are going to do just the Trailing Arm, why not just replace the TA Bushings and the Sub Frame bushings. really not that big a job, Now that I did it once. seemed a lot harder when I was reading through a bunch of threads.

Bottomed out

there has been a few threads where the Arms have bent, and the shock has broken through. think one collapsed. 2 I remember where the are is welded to the end piece, it rusted and cracked enough to let it sag.
