ALDA increases fuel to go with increased air from turbo, shouldn't have anything to do with no-start condition. I'll bet you disturbed something else while working on the ALDA. Is your rack damper bolt the gold colored updated bolt?

As others said the ALDA is not the problem. Do you have fuel at the injectors (crack hard lines at inj and turn engine over)?

Did you put the wrong vacuum line back on the shut off valve and the vacuum is not bleeding off?

if the rack damper bolt is on the bottom back then it is the original 1 , loosened lines and was geting fuel to all of them ,, PS the car runs great when it does start

At this point I would run a compression test since it appears you are getting both fuel and glow.

There's another thread where he describes what he did. Glowplugs have been voltage checked and ohmed out also.

A compression test is not needed, yet = more diagnosis needed first.

What more diagnosis? No one else has been able to come up with any suggestions on either thread besides checking for glow and fuel. I can't think of anything else? Hard start cold and good start hot is indicative of low compression. Good start hot is indicative that there aren't any fuel problems and its getting air so if glow plugs are working, where else to go but to compression?

did not mess with anything else just alda , made sure not to bump any lines . but when it does start up it smoke alot , could the pump be pumping more to injectors and maby injectors are cloged or working improper ? thats the onlything other than compretion i can think cause i took the hard lines off injector pump and am geting good fuel sperts there . or ip timing ?

The only difference I can think of between hot and cold is compression, apart from a fuel leak which might be causing the system to lose prime after sitting.

Glad you got it figured out. How did you check the ohms? If you check each plug at the plug without disconnecting the harness from the relay you can get false ohm readings since all the plugs are connected to the hot wire inside the relay and hence to each other.
