California cruising in the SD(pics)

I just finished my first long road trip driving Norm and was really happy with the ride and performance.

Stats:

Miles driven - 994
MPG - 26
Oil burned - 1 quart
Max operating temp 102

We took HWY 101 down from Oakland to L.A. and then HWY 1 back up North. I'm pretty happy with the mileage considering the hills South of Santa Barbara, and traffic we had to endure at times while in L.A. The AC worked great the entire trip. The temp gauge was making me nervous when climbing some of those hills, but from what I've read on this site, 102 isn't too bad under extreme conditions.
Most importantly, the car helped us enjoy a great trip, and I hope that you guys enjoy the pics.

Hey Sixto,

Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to solve the backrest issue on the passenger seat. I threw out a desperation post the night before we left after trying your clothes pin method of jumping current around the plug. As you can see from this post Electric seat puzzle , I tried just about everything. I'm not sure I want to dig into the wiring harness at the door hinge, or bother installing a new switch for a function that is used rarely. I might just install a two way switch under the passenger seat on the left side.
Thanks for all of your help with this car.
