Biobased Engine Oil 15w40 and 40 compared to Chevron Delo 400

15w40 and straight 40 is available, I'm wondering what is your opinion about this oil.

I would like to try straight 40 anyways. What is your opinion about that?

This biobased synthetic lubricant is formulated to exceed the Original Equipment Manufactures (OEM) requirements for newvehicles, but
vehicles with higher mileage and equipment with high hours need a different lubricant that improves performance in these older out of
warranty machines. As the engine wears the lubrication film needs to be improved and the additive technology should also be increased to
prevent wear and condition the seals for longer life. Unlike conventional motor oils, this biobased, synthetic formula has special additives and
additional booster additives that help improve engine life. This is noticeable by the deep and dark color of this formula.
Since 1993, RLI’s unique, first of their kind, Bio-Super High Performance Motor Oils have proven exceptional performance in the racing

Specially selected oxidation inhibitors control oxidation, sludge, and undue thickening during oil drain periods.
Chevron Delo 400 LE SAE 15W-40’s unique blend of extreme pressure antiwear additive protects against valve train wear and scuffing of highly loaded parts operating under boundary lubrication. A specially selected viscosity index improver ensures easy flow at low temperatures and excellent film protection in hot engine areas. A defoaming additive prevents air entrapment.

Let us know how it goes, also when you change it please send a sample to Blackstone for the breakdown and post them here.

I will, I'm planning to use this oils on a VW TDI too.
