Interesting that you talk in terms of KM & not miles. I thought the USA still used miles.

Well since Mercedes is German they do it in KM and I don't thinks its different for the US... I think the only one they have for the US is the 1,000,000 mile but it might even have that listed in KM... We still use miles but the badges only come in kilometers. At 312K miles I sent for the 500K kilometer badge. I have both the 250K and 500K badges on the grill of my '84. I kind of like them. Stirs up conversation and people find out more about the longevity of diesels.
