Location of W115 rear defroster defogger relay?

I've read that it's outboard the driver's left knee. However, there are about 5-6 relays there.

Or, am I looking in the wrong place?

Which one is it? I don't want to randomly start yanking stuff out as I'm the clumsy sort who breaks things by simply looking at 'em.

I'm working with a gentlemen on this fair board about a replacement, but we're both flummoxed about which one it is.

Thanks!

I can't tell you, but if it's working you can switch you defrost switch and you should be able to hear it click, or feel it if your holding on to it. I'm sure someone will be able to tell you exactly which on it is though.

Thanks.

No clicking action here.

I found the wires dangling in the trunk. Some folks pointed out that they connect behind the rear seat.

I got them connected hoping that it would fix the problem, but no joy.

The lamp will energize so long as you're pulling out the knob, but goes out as soon as you release it.
