How many oz Freon w124 '90

This information is probably sitting nicely somewhere but I could not find it.

My 1990 w124 300D turbo is a stock R12 unit. If it was completely empty and ready to be charged, how many ounces, on average would it take to charge.

I realize (or I think I do) that the exact amount is determined with gauges but I'd think that there would be a good and accurate first-order estimate.

Given all of the knowledgeable and helpful AC folks here I thought they'd easily be able to help.

Thanks.
