190D auto to manual swap: will my current speedometer be correct
I might be purchasing a parts car to do a transmission swap. It's a 1984 190D 2.2 5 speed (w/o overdrive). Question is, if I do the full swap, including the rear subframe so I have the diff that matches, will I need to modify my speedo so it is correct or can I use the one from the parts car? Or, what would it be like if I don't swap in the manual rear subframe and diff and just leave the factory diff in mine?
