That's great and so true. I didn't pay any attention to Mercedes until several years ago when I started looking for a diesel to run biodiesel. Then I notice there were diesel MB's all over.

My daughter (who is 13) said that she can now tell when a Mercedes drives by according to how it sounds. The daughters have finally come to accept riding in the 240D.

How true that is. when my wife an I got interested in a Mercedes, then they were every where. I could pick out the Purr of a 617 in an instant.

Today they are fewer, but we can spot one through the sea of clutter on the Highway.

I remember back in 1956 when my Mom and Dad were looking for a PU. then bought a used 1953 Chevy step side. ( that is they had back then)
suddenly there were Chevy PU`s everywhere. I can still remember my Mom`s comment on it. It was Caterpiller yellow with three on the tree.

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.

We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works
