Thanks, Yak, the Australian site has a lot of good info, although nothing seems to correspond to the strange numbers on the tag. The closest possibilities are the "product number" and the "order number" although that's only because of the number of digits. The actual "order number" in the Datacard doesn't look like anything on the option tag.
I can't claim to have completely stripped the car looking, so the build sheet might still be around. Maybe I'll find it some day. Sixto, does the VMI have to come from a dealer? I have the one for my car but can't remember where I got it. Anyway, there's not much on it, just the VIN, engine and transmission serials, option and paint codes, and the warranty start date (original sales date). Jeremy
