What Are These Guide Rod Parts?
I got my parts to replace the guide rod mounts and the bushings. I'm trying to figure where these finger-like pieces get bolted to.
I can't find a post with photos of these pieces mounted on the bracket. www.peachparts.com/shopforum/attachments/diesel-discussion/38053d1163497485-diy-bearing-bracket-guide-rod-mount

They're nut plates. You slip them through the frame so there's a fresh nut to receive the bolt. Difficult to describe where they go without a picture and I don't have a picture. It'll make sense as you remove the old parts.

OK. Thanks.
By the way, I think the guide mount shoud have a better seal. Looks too open for dirt and water to get in.

The third pic in the thread shows me removing the bolt from that piece.
