Nut size on auxiliary fan switch
84 300D
The original aux fan switch comes off with a 19MM socket. The new one takes a 22MM and its made by Uro. The Behr is the same size. (Or at least it is larger than 19mm.) The problem is that there is not enough space to tighten the new one because a bracket that holds the AC line is in the way. There is just enough space to get it a little tight, but not enough space to tighten it correctly. I guess I will have to loosen the AC bracket to install the aux fan switch. But before I did that, I thought I would ask.... Has anyone else run into this? I hate to loosen the AC bracket unless I have no choice.
