radiator leak

i'm starting this as a new post cause i initially brought it up in a post that was talking about numerous other problems (all of which were solved!).

basically, i'm losing coolant. when i look at the radiator it almost looks like its weeping/sweating (passenger side midway up). on the lower lip i can see coolant pooling up. haven't been investigating it long enough, but i bet i'm losing a half inch every two or so days.

it was recommended that i get to a radiator shop and have it tested/repaired, but i wanted to check in with folks here one last time just in case its something i can do myself. don't know much about radiators yet (and actually still confused if the green coolant i have in there is a 'no no').

is it worth me putting some barsleak in there just to see if that works before taking it in to pay someone to test it? if i can see it weeping is it even worth having someone test it or should i just buy another one and replace?

thanks for any thoughts!
