Benzworld MBworld ANNNNNNNNND... Index of /images The rear wheel carrier can be removed ,in total,without damage. Picture credit GSXR BUT,unless you're gonna replace all the Links ,you're "Treating Yourself" to an awful lot of extra work,just to R+R the bushing. This would save you all that:

pfft... I just swapped in a good entire subframe... I found it easier than dealing with the bearing... and I got good ball joints and links all for the trouble of 4 large bolts...

I just did my carrier bushings. Getting the link off was straighforward once I bent the brake shield out of the way.
