1984 190d was it a good deal?
I just bought a 1984 190d that is a basket case. It has 335,000
miles and has been at a garage for 5 years and was never repaired. the "mechanic " pulled the radiator, injector lines and part of the intake and thats about as far as it went. The lady who owned it never drove it but to the shop. She said it didnt have much power. Of course if you werent used to driving these cars im sure you wouldnt think it had much power. anyway im in the delimma whether to put it back together and see what it does or pull it out and go ahead and rebuild it? What do yall think of these cars and what should I do with a car this mileage? One thing I thought neat of the car is that it is a 5 speed. Are all of the 190d cars naturally aspirated. Also does anyone have a spare motor? The upper intake is missing and Im not sure what all else yet. Also what is the best service manual to buy for this car and wher can I get it? Alright enough questions for one post. Let me have it .
thanks
