Tank screen location
Can anyone tell me or have a picture of the tank screen location. I'm under the car now and I don't see a 46mm nut like I was told should be here. I see the two small lines but no tank screen nut. It's the 86 sdl thanks.

I just did mine. There are 2 lines under the tank. The inner line ( away from the bumper ) is the feed line, the outer one is the return. Flip open the rubber gasket ( triangular shaped ) and you would see the 42mm nut on the inner line. Use a 19mm spanner on the hose and it may take out the 42mm strainer also. My hose was screwed in very tight that it came out with the filter as one assembly.
Make sure you EMPTY your tank as I made a mess of it. I pumped out the fuel but the tank filter was so clogged that there was still 2" of fuel in the tank. When the filter came out, fuel was everywhere and it leaked back into the trunk. I was pi$$ed. Good luck.
