If you are giving it back to her, I dont understand the need for the manual transplant. All it needs is a new B2 piston. Dont even need the tranny out.
I am sure if you got it going real quick, your GF could think of much nicer ways to pass the time with you than you wrenching on the car !!

Lol, not my GF, just a good friend. Actually the GF of one of my other good friends who hates this car. Threres a possibility they won't want the car back come spring time, she is getting a new car.

Manual swap is about my personal enjoyment while I use the car. . Reason being is I have every part to do it except a shifter, shift linkage bars, and driveshaft front section, and the swap wouls improve the basic reliability and usability of the car, also making it more desirable for resale if it comes to that. Even among enthusiasts, an auto 240 is not especially popular
