LED Front Turn Signals
Good Day Everyone! Someone seems to have stolen my driver side front turn signal. Pricing a new amber one is around $50. I have found new sets of front clear turn signals for around $30 new. These use LED's instead of bulbs.
Is there any reason I should not go with clear plastic with amber LED's for my front turn signals? Thanks, glenn |

Glenn,
Used ones are cheap, some members are probably parting a W124 out. Contact C32wagon, he has a ton of W124's and might have the parts you need. Rare Euro 300TE 5 speed wagon For sale $2500 - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum It's also common to have the two tabs in the corner lights to break and for the unit to fall off the car. They're hard to remove unless these tabs are broken or the inside brackets are not holding. They snap into place so be careful when reinstalling a good used one. I'd recommend sticking with the standard amber/orange corner lights. These provide an original look to your car, are cheap to find and won't require an LED so maintenance is cheaper with a dual filament amber bulb. Make sure you also get the bulb holder, if it got lost or stolen with the corner light unit. Then again I'm just a fan of amber corner lights when properly used (up to 1993 in the W124)
