Shop Time to Replace Delivery Valve Seals on 602 IP
My 91 300D is at Indie #1 getting delivery valve seals on injection pump replaced....charging me 3-1/2 hours labor. Finally got a call back from Indie #2 (closer, but with higher labor rate) who said he thought it would take about 2 hours....but didn't sound as definite as Indie #1.
So does 3-1/2 hours sound about right or am I getting charged too much labor?

1.5-2 hrs to R&R intake & about another hour to reseal the delivery valves.

The tie breaker to me is who works on these cars and who does this task more often. And gets it right would be nice, too.
